Yeah. What's outdated about it? I could use it fine, though there weren't enough pictures, that didn't matter very much.


I did notice that there wasn't a gene for spotted tabby, which to my knowledge is dominant over mackerel, but recessive to ticked.
I don't know if there is a name though. I didn't spend long on it.
Is there Chinchilla or Bimetallic on that calculator?

She would have to show more breast. And also I realize now that a wyandotte does not have visible main tailfeathers

Largefowl often will show more.
Too bad all of the silver laced Orpingtons here are British style, otherwise they would show a typical type of chicken. The lacing isn't totally great, but it's close. Maybe Sebrights?
The roosters wouldn't look good.

Hmm. I use Messybeast for a lot of cat genetics, though I don't know whether it is accurate enough, I have never needed real accurate information. Anyways, here I am, not talking about chickens.
Earlobe color. Have you tried studying that? I find it too complicated.

Thanks. Yes, I am aware that it is not related to eggshell color.
How about leg color? I am aware that yellow is recessive and I know about dermal melanin and fibromelanin.
We have a doc around here somewhere with shank color genetics.

Do you have any info on the possible resulting of crossing a hard feathered bird with a soft feathered bird?

hard feathered as in fast growing feathers and soft feathered as in slow growing feathers? That is a sexlinked factor, symbol K. Slow growth is dominant
