Interesting idea though!
Bowl with a smaller bowl inside it, smaller bowl upside down. Wet paper towels or cloth rags for moisture around smaller bowls sides. Egg on smaller bowl, and a light bulb for heat. Add a thermometer, figure out some kind of cover, and voila! Instant 'bator!

Obviously, I have too much time on my hands today!

It was me...LOL.....I had that last orpie egg in a mixing bowl with a heat lamp on it...hahahahaha...forgot already!!!

DB's- 10 definite veining, 2 not sure, but not clear either!

Variety pack- Can't see through the RIR and EE's- BO's look good, as far as I can tell!

Was that a 4 day candling?

Its probably just a BYC glitch in the system

But while i have your attention

I picked up a new flashlight and candled tonight (day 5) and it looks like i have 4 and maybe even 5 eggs developing

This is a very imprtant hatch to me. I was so hoping to get a few to hatch. I only had 8 to try from and no 'do-overs' if it went bad. I see most of you have so many eggs in this hatch, but i only had 8 so i was a wreck waiting to find out.......... I am VERY HAPPY

I hope the next candling confirms it
