The trophies need to be redone. We are still evaluating the best / most efficient way to do it.

I'm not going to get my 5 year badge until August of 2021. There used to be a 4 year badge, if that still existed, I'd get it this August. I do like the year badges on BYC though, I have been a member of a few fish forums for over 5 years, including my own, and none have year badges.

If I am remembering correctly the year badges were every year starting at a one year badge when BYC was on Huddler. It was not until after the change over that they began only starting with a 5 year badge.

They used to start at 4 years on Huddler.

Easy editing of existing linked words (just click on the linked text and a menu pops up)

I had no problems editing links previously when there was a link and an unlink icon. The new method to me was confusing because before there was no need for the pop up box. I kept looking for the unlink icon after the change.

Something I am finding annoying...
When I use bold, italics, underline, it used to be highlighted above and now it is not,
so its hard to tell if it's 'on or off'.
Can this be fixed?

I'm adoring the easily edited links. I've made use of that feature several times already

It's a new feature that allows you to quickly and easily edit links you embed as words in your post. You can make the link a clickable word or phrase instead of just pasting it in (which was always possible, but you couldn't edit it as easily as you can now).

So basically this:

Versus having to paste it in like this:

And the new feature makes it so I can edit the words of the link very easily.

I'm sad that the smilies are so hard to get to. Sometimes I click on them and nothing happens. I click on them again and they may or may not appear. When I click on the one I want, it may not appear where I want it in my text. It's no longer smooth and intuitive. I hardly ever use it any more. It's just and then I have to click out of the icons, get back into my text and turn them back on if I want to use another one. Which, like right now, it won't let me. I'm so bummed. Sigh. Insert crying icon here.
