They fixed the jumping around it was doing
But now it jumps around on my laptop. When I'm typing this the page jumps if someone else posts while I'm typing, and then I can't see what I'm typing sometimes. Then when I hit post it jumps to what seems to be a random spot and I have to go figure out where I am in the thread.

Huge congratulations and thanks to @Nifty-Chicken @MattW and @CarpCharacin for implementing such massive changes so quickly and seamlessly! I feel like Scrooge waking up on Christmas morning 😂

I know I will probably have a few questions, but I am also very excited to explore all the new features. Thanks guys!

You can get away with lower contrast fonts on a website if your default fonts aren't large enough or designed extremely well with usability in mind. The current choices are, unfortunately, not.

This. This is what I was looking for. Color contrast guidelines for websites as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines!

I hope in the future the developers of the website look these over and take AA-AAA accessibility into serious consideration so that people with web accessibility issues (like me) can actually use the website as regularly as we used to.
As it stands I will probably be trying to reduce the amount of time I spend on this website so I don't experience as much eye pain. Website accessibility for people with disabilities and sensitivity is a real, physical issue for many of us.

I will note that reading posts seems to be fine, it's just literally everything else.
