I've had it happen a lot when I try to use BYC emojis.

It's still giving me a hard time jumping around when I'm typing, but it's not nearly as bad as it was

I think you might be on to something with the emojis. It does happen a lot then.

Regarding the birthdays....
Today is not @shawluvsbirds ... tomorrow is and it is showing today as her birthday.

Hmm... odd. So it's not just a timezone thing? Maybe @CarpCharacin has some ideas?

"Wow" should be a positive reaction point, imo.

I think they all should be actually...

Actually, I tend to agree that wow, and maybe all should add positively to the count. I just don't see many situations where our members will actually use the reactions in a "negative" or even "neutral" way. Our members tend to be a pretty supportive bunch.

If I "react" with the "" or the "☹" it would be because I'm MAD or SAD with the poster, not at the poster. I vote all reacts count positively .

I don't like change either, but change is inevitable. I don't like it bc I get comfy and then have to go through a learning curve ...at MY AGE, lol! But in general y'all have done a good job and I like it. I will get used to it. It actually looks nice, not so cluttered. well, there is this, I'm having issues with the emojis. This screaming head is supposed to be right after "at my age, lol" and I can't seem to insert him there. There are bound to be glitches but I'm sure in time it will all run smoothly. You guys do good work and we appreciate you. Sigh. And the "love" emoji is supposed to be HERE, lol! Trying again. ah! There he is! Sigh.... I'll get it figured out, eventually!

I like most of the changes. My only complaint so far is advertisements mixed in with posts just seems noisy. I understand the need for revenue. Just 3 ads per page is annoying. Before you had ads and I barely noticed them, it was great. Now its annoying. Not that it will stop me from visiting, but takes away from my experience here where I was more focused on our passion and less distracted.

I agree! If something bad or sad happens to someone's chickens, I don't always want to click "like." I may want to show support in another way, by being sad with them, or shocked, or mad that a raccoon got in for example. I get it!
