Lol No larger parrots yet not until I can make some good sized aviary's but 1-2 more tiels is fine with my cage size. I will still probably wait until I can build an aviary but if happens sooner then it happens sooner

They are too expensive, but maybe it helps save them from what might be bad owners. My Goffin Cockatoo was $500 - 34 years ago and my Blue-fronted Amazon was $899, also 34 years ago. I bought them six-months apart and before I had my own kids! When I tell people my bird is older than my daughter their mouths drop open! lol

People freak out when I tell them my bird is older then me

I've had Sophie for over 20 years, and Julio for about 10. They are blue and gold macaws. They are in giant separate cages in my home office. Both are pluckers and we've tried everything over the years and gave up. They go on long trips with us. Hubby made a bar out of a thick dowel and mounted it to the seats for them to sit on, but usually Julio will come down to sit on my lap. He's a wuss. They pretend to sing along with hubby though.

Recently, someone asked us to take their two parakeets, so we made some room in the living room for them.
