I'm new here and noticed your post about how many chicken lovers are in the area so I thought I'd join in... I'm in Winton and I'm SOOOOO glad to find so many others suffer from "OCD" (Obsessive Chicken Disorder), like me! LOL!!! Hope to make many friends here as I feel you can NEVER go wrong with someone who LOVES chickens!

Welcome! I'm in Madera to the south of you. I have made several friends on this site that share my chicken addiction. We've had a couple of get-togethers and parties this year so it has been a blast meeting so many in person. It is a fun and informative group.

Okay, I may as well join in....I'm from Oroville, near Berry Creek, Paradise, and Chico.

I have Seramas (not many--anyone wanna trade a couple of hens for the two roos I need gone?), Bantam Orpingtons in Blue and Black, one each large fowl Buff Orpington, silver laced Wyandotte, black Silkie/Orp hen, two Araucanas, and a bunch of Bearded Belgian d'Anvers offspring whose momma crossed with the Seramas, and boy do they LAY! (And set, hence the current population issue...) Hopefully I can find homes for the four GORGEOUS red/orange roosters that, silly me, I made pets of...they need good homes.

Soo...that's me. Anybody else in Chico/Oroville/Paradise?

Cottonwood! You are super close to me. I get a little too excited when I see other BYCers so near. In the other Nor Cal thread - several Bay Area people. Quite the drive for this Redding girl.
