Calif. N.Central Valley/Foothills

I got the chicks from chickens for backyards. I'm not sure which hatchery they are from. We had one that had problems with pasty butt but we have been successful in keeping her vent clean and she's doing better. She's a lot smaller than the other two, however. Is that normal?
It can be normal. Really depends though. How are they doing now?

They're doing very well. Wow, they grow fast! I'm worried that one of them is a cockerel, however. Not sure but she/he's a lot bigger than the other two and much lighter in color, bigger comb and starting to get pinkish waddles. They're a month old today. I'll try and post pictures of them.

Ohhhh yes pics are great! I'd love to see them! Playing guess that cockerel is fun!

Delores or Horace?

Beginning to get pinkish/red waddle (4 weeks, 2 days old)

Agnes & Mercy on the roost. Delores or Horace below?? They're 4 weeks, 2 days old.

Hmm it's kinda hard to tell. See if you can get a total side shot of him/her standing. They hold themselves different than females. More upright and proud. The term 'cocky' comes to mind because they just stand that way. :D

I'm going to have to find Horace a home. Anyone looking for a barred rock roo? And where can I get a pullet at this time of year?
