Margarette, you can have as many as you want from me - you were the best coronation mom I know...hey forgot to tell you Sir Giles got liquid acupuncture the other day in his foot, vet thinks because of the injury way back when that he's developed arthritis and that's why he won't roost. He roosted that same day after that, but I haven't spent enough time in his pen to see if he still is.
Thanks! and thats interesting about SG, he didnt have to roost here, he had his own pen with the 3 girls, and the entire run was bedded in those big flaked shavings, with an XL igloo doghouse w/ more shavings they all slept in. Ive had acupuncture done on myself and horses, love it, its amazing...
Oh he doesn't "have to" roost, just that most all my other chickens do, there is plenty of room in the coop for him on the ground with the girls and his pen is very nice sized. The vet injected, I believe, b12 into the acupuncture sites - never heard about this type before although, like you, I love the regular acupuncture and Toby my 12 yr old lab gets it every 2 weeks for his arthritis and hips
