California - Northern

Yes our Grange sells the Super Scratch. According to the bag it comes from Ceres, CA and was blended for Volkman Seed Factory.
It's got Small Yellow Corn, R/C Red & White Milo, R/C Wheat, R/C Oats, R/C Barley and Fish Oil.

The chickens like the Layeena stuff, they eat the Omega 3 stuff...but slowly. We have some off brand at the store- Country something or other. Haven't tried it yet. Jones Feed here has Artois layer pellets and the chickens ate that fine. I have no idea what is in it and you cannot find the info anywhere that I could find.

Anyone else local to me that gets any other feeds that are non soy non corn? Where do you get it? I'd love to get some.
Some chickens don't like pellets. (can't speak for the ducks) I bought a bag of the Omega 3 stuff, but haven't opened it yet. I do mix Flockraiser with layer pellets though. Some of them seek out the pellets and some want the crumble. Works for everyone. You just have to be careful adding the lay pellets in when you have babies - too much calcium for their little bodies.

My Layers gave me 9 eggs again today, so I let them into the back yard when I got home from work.

They sure had fun tearing up the grass out there!

My Aseel laid her first egg today since I brought her back from the dark side (broody)
