The only person That I have gotten eggs from that are like mine(other than people here) was from the person that sells eggs at the Woodland Farmers Market. There are a couple of vendors at the Davis market that sell "farm Fresh" eggs that taste like store eggs. I could live with the ones from the Woodland market but two years ago she was selling the eggs for $4.00 per dozen. I have not checked but I bet she sells them for more now.Great point Ron.
That's good to know! I think that I better add chard to my list for the garden!Chard also grows from the base of the plant when the stalks are cut off. I call it the plant that keeps on giving! We had 5 stalks keeping us in Chard from Sprint to Fall one year.
It is also very good for the chickens to eat.
Quote: Oh Yes! Get the red chard.
I have a Giada recipe for Creamy Manicotti with chard. Lots of work but great tasting!

I order a chicken forage mix from Peaceful Valley groworganic.com . My girls love it!Territorial seed company sells a chicken pasture seed blend. Don't think it would do much under my trees though.
Or maybe it was Peaceful valley that had the pasture mix.
