The pink could just be intestinal lining. Shedding of Lining is quit normal. Here is a great link to photos of normal and abnormal poop.Okay, gonna be a bit radical and post some poop. Sorry, but I'm having the HARDEST time getting any help from local feed stores. No one in all of Nevada County has Corid! If they do, it's for cows. I tried Auburn and they have something for Cocci, but it's not Corid. When I checked on the girls this morning this is what I found. Im not sure if it's coming all from one chick or many. This is a marble slab the waterer sits upon. Does this look like Cocci poop? For the most part they all look pretty good. A moth got into the brooder last night and they went NUTS and played "keep away" until it was gobbled up.

yes just block the breeze and the chicks are good with a light. i have chicks out side with a light nowLove the snowy chick pics!
It is good to know that you have a three sided coop where you are!! We don't get as cold as Placerville here in Lake County and I think we get hotter. It means I can keep my my already three sided coop as is when I retrofit it. Thinking if I put a big cardboard box in it to block the breeze and shore it up with hardware cloth it will be fine for my babies too.
your project is off to a good start with those eggs....Congratulations! It always seem that you're eying the first pips and another chicks pips, zips and hatches that you didn't even notice! Sounds like a great hatch!
Happy Easter to you too Trisha! There is something special having chicks right at Easter!
Look what arrived yesterday from SunnyDawn! I wish the picture showed just how dark they are....they are amazing! Gotta clean the incubator and get these going. Sunny and I are working on a dark egg project. They arrived all safe and sound and beautifully packed!

Looks like your pictures.
My Buff Brahma is a tank! She is one of my biggest birds even though she is a hatchery bird. She is so sweet and I love her. The downside of her mellow personality is that she is almost at the bottom of the pecking order and head hen height:525px;" width="350">

Thanks everyone for bearing with me! The people at ridge feed were actually rude to my grandmother and said she was wasting money on the Corid, that they were almost certain the chicks have worms as they talked over her trying to explain what their poo looks like. I've come to the conclusion I love my BYC chicken family! LOL, at least you guys know that Ameraucana's don't lay green and pink eggs
We decided to go ahead and get the Corid and treat them, better safe than sorry. After they are all treated we will give them some B vitamins to help them get back to normal. (Thanks Chickee, you've been amazing!!!)
it is better to start with corid then treat with worms if that does not help. Cocci will kill them quicker if untreated than the wormsThanks everyone for bearing with me!
