Wow, NICE! You got the Porcelain you liked! You can also use any Lavenders with those I believe. Broody is going to be VERY happy birdie! What breed is she?

You know, if she sold just eggs from the Partridge pen I would be in serious trouble. Fortunately she doesn't do that...

Countdown to cute chicks begins soon...

Yes, I am super happy to get so many porcelain eggs! I think your right about being able to use the lavenders with porcelain. The broody (another bantam buff Brahma) has been sitting for a couple of weeks, so she will be really glad to get eggs.

I was disappointed I didn't get any Partridge eggs

She did say that she would send what was laid that day, so I guess that pen didn't produce. Sounds like we may have to hit chiqita up for some Partridge

This is our first Pita Pinta chick hatching. The egg to its left and above it are also PP eggs. The ones with an F are mixed breeds from the farm.
Perfect. I'll have to think about them for a layer. I have to be careful with dark egg layers, can't get them confused with my dark breeder eggs.

Ron, your Pene egg looks so much like a wellie egg. So I can't have any Pene's here.

This is my favorite Barnevelder cockerel I'm growing out. He is 6 months old. He's so beautiful, I just find myself staring at him - which is pretty funny, when you consider that I have 9 of them running around.

Showing his beautiful width. And absolutely NO tail fluff..

hattrick silkies  has partridge eggs... just saying! Plus 50% of the babies I hatched since the  attack look like they may be partridge. I see another exchange coming up over  stockton!

What kind of things can u take to an exchange? Is it like a flea
Market where u buy your table and flaunt your wares? Lol I have extra of what I don't want and not enough of what I do! Sounds like a country song in the makes.

Beautiful! When they stand out like that you know you have created something really special!

I understand! One of the Pita Pinta eggs was the larges I have hatched a chick from so far. It barely fit into the egg turner.

Its not a exchange, but last year I traded about 12 chickens in the parking lot and bought a quad of showgirls and ALL the eggs from the official sales floor. Pro tip: make sure you know what each type of chick is supposed to look like when you buy ALL the eggs..... remember the leghorn/legabar fiasco?

Its one of the biggest shows on the west coast, so a lot of people go.

chickenmamma ended up with owl, a partridge rooster returned by a customer. I traded all my white silkies for blacks and a cl roo for.. something.. And I delivered black soldier flies and a few fodder buckets. It was a crowded car!
