Yes, the bag is orange, probably because of the Sweet Potatoes? It costs a bit under 20 dollars. You do not have too many chickens so a handful or two will do.
I feed my dog and cat Nature's Domain from Costco. (The chickens also get some of the cat food.) It is made in the USA by Diamond Pet Foods. They also make several other brands of food including Taste of the Wild which is a more expensive food that I used to feed our dog before Costco started carrying Nature's Domain.

They had a recall of some of their dog food in 2012 which is what this article is about but included in the article is a list of the brands that are associated with Diamond Pet Foods.

its best to have a few people to put it up and stretch it. I do mine myself do to lack of help but it looks better if you have some hands
Good to know! Was going to try it myself but will have to employ husband and a child labor force for this one then. Thank you :)

anyone have chicks or know anyone with them? I have a friend with a seemingly unsuccessful broody attempt. Today was day 21...I told her it isn't always 21 and guessed that maybe with the cold days it may take 22 or 23 so she is going to give it another couple of days but she is worried about her girl and would like to line up some babies if she can.

I might have some on the First!

I have some that should be hatching soonish. I did not write a date on them however so I don't know exactly when. 2 breese and 2 Blue egged mutts. I need to keep 1 for Lucy however and I might be too far from yall.

Also ! I have a silkie that has more then normal gender confusion. Moppet survived the Fox attack. He has never crowed or mated and used to try and sleep under hens.

Now he has decided he is a mother! He has been trying to ninja chicks from My 3 broodies. He moved down to the broodies level of the coop and is cooing to the babies and convinced a few to sleep under him. Tonight he was coming to imaginary babies and got very upset when I moved him till I borrowed 2 real chicks to slip under him.

I wonder if I gave him eggs if he will sit?

Ok, just used Valbazen on one flock. Had a hard time seeing the line of the dropper. Any easier way than a dropper? That in itself took forever.
THEN, I read on another thread, one opinion says to Not Use Valbazen first! That you should use Wazine first to not overload. Is that correct? A little late now for one flock, but tomorrow is the other’s turn. Didn't even think of that before.
**The flock I do tomorrow is 2 years old and NEVER been wormed before. With the exception of 1, who a few months ago had a load of roundworms. So I'm guessing the same with the rest.
