Rain went from the Sanoma coast and the bottom barely touched Woodland. It has moved on from here now.

still a bit misty/rainy here on Sonoma Mtn -- but i think it's mostly mist condensing on the oak branches at this point. hoping the soil at least got a wee bit damp from this...

I'm so excited!!! My 4-H leader gave me her Hova-bator 1602N incubator (it does have the automatic turner)!! I've never had one nor hatched an egg! I've done a little research on how to use it (I need to do more).

I've seen so much advice on hatching eggs on this thread but haven't really stored the info because I never thought I'd hatch via incubator. So if you guys have some advice for this first timer id appreciate it! :)

That's awesome! Beautiful eggs! What kind? I just so happen to have some Cream Legbar eggs and Black Copper Maran x CL... How long can I keep them before setting them?

Cream Legbar over Black Copper Marans, Splash Marans over EE, and Splash Marans over Blue Marans. Most people say after 7 days your hatching % will go down.

I have the same incubator. It works great once you learn how to adjust it. (meaning very small adjustments and wait for several hours) I recommend getting a Brinsea spot check thermometer, they are super accurate.
