A chick hatched! Wasn't even pipped when I left for town. Go figure 11 more a pipping now.

I do need to go back to town. That one with the beak out is still in the same place with no additional pipping/zipping. I can see the beak open and close but because of the angle of the egg against the bator, I can't see the membrane.

Went outside and did chores for 90 minutes and no change. I'm a doula going to school to be a midwife. This is worse than waiting on a baby! At least with a baby we can get visual/audio updates from the mother. This way they are all in the incubator and you don't have a clue if they are half dead or not. AARGH!
