Who are the moderators that post here? I'm having trouble remembering their name(s) and need to ask them about a post they did awhile ago. Eyes and memory, sigh....

They are Pita Pinta and one Partridge Penedesenca:

OMG!! I wish I had a video camera or my phone ready when I played this. Riley immediately came over to "see" the chicks, but couldn't figure out where I was hiding them!. She kept looking under the footrest of the recliner, trying to push the laptop off my lap and running back and froth from one side to the other! It was hysterical! I should save the video and play ot for her when she is bored....

The first two Konza Ranger chicks are out:

Awww....they are adorable!

Quote: What a great way to celebrate a 13th birthday!

Sorry, I had an OCD need to post on this page because it's my address, LOL
LOL!!!! Need fulfilled....

You all are a bad influence, lol! In addition to this, I also set 12 others under broodies. The incubator pictured is a Janoel 48 that we bought to use as a NICU, but I thought it would be fun to try hatching some older peafowl eggs it it.

I have more BLRW eggs on the way from Papa Brooder. Hope they get here today....don't want them to sit at the PO until Saturday...

Ugh, hope the fire stays away and the smoke doesn't bother you too much.

Thanks so much for everyone's well wishes! Looks like the worst part may possibly be over.

The fire was about 30 percent contained last I checked this morning. Looks like 200 families were forcibly evacuated, two houses damaged, and now the fire is heading NE away from our area, toward Lake County. Good news is that the area it is heading is a less populated, wilder, more rocky area with much less in the way of vineyards, and few grazing pastures for horses and cattle. Nice area for animals, bad for wildfires.

Well they are passing into that not so cute stage

My Pita Pintas (Salt and Pepper) Pepper has a crooked toe

The black feathers on the back look so much like the down pattern you can hardly tell they have them now

The 3 CLB boys Front here is Verin (the one billed as a girl has the largest reddest comb)

Butterscotch the most brown down of the lot

My buddie Reggie the runt of the pack

More Verin to see comb

Butterscotch

Reggie

Faile the Girl with Snowball the Delaware

Neither really wanted to cooperate with the photo shoot

Lots of barring on the back of Snowball

She is very pretty though I cant tell if her right wing droops a little or if its just the large feathers came in and she is growing into them The rights primaries seem to be a little low on occasion

serial rapist apprehended. one of his victims died from the injuries she sustained during his attack(s). bail is set at $15 cash.
OMG! Poor horny fella. I never thought to call my guy a serial rapist. I do get a good giggle when he runs to jump on one of the girls bent over eating and she just sidesteps. It's funny as hell. lol

I hope they get this fire contained soon. Fires have always worried me just to think of everyone that has to deal with the aftermath. Last year when the Monte Diablo fire happened it took out the archery range out there...
