Poor girls, they were completely out of their element. Must have been someones pets if they were able to be caught so easily. @caychris I hope you can find out what shelter and give them a good home.
They squatted for the police, lol.

I think I've determined that my rooster hates jeans. I almost never wear them, but I did when my dad and I were working on adding an external nest box to the coop and when I was putting the chickens up, I got flogged! He's NEVER flogged me. NEVER. Next couple days, I wore jeans UNDER the maxi dresses I'm normally in (jeans don't show, but I wanted a little extra protection). No flogging. Last night, I had on a skirt and the jeans were visible. Flogged. Apparently I'm just not *me* in jeans.
I had a Welsummer rooster that hated cell phones. I got flogged once by him when I was talking on my cell phone while collecting eggs. Tried it again to see if it was really the phone, and yep, he had that look in his eye coming towards me. I hung up and put the phone in my pocket and he stopped instantly. He never once flogged me again, and the cell phone stayed inside after that.I think I've determined that my rooster hates jeans. Critters. They're nutty sometimes. My Rottie hated anything that obscured the head (hats, beards, sunglasses, hoodies). I could wear a hat, but NOBODY else could.
