California - Northern

BTW, i am being a total post hog but I haven't sat down on this site in almost a week and really got to read through things.  Anyway, today I got 5 Cream legbar eggs, 4 yesterday and 4 the day before.  pretty sure all the girls are starting up.  it was like the egg drought was broken today.  All my BLRWs lay so I got 6 eggs there and just about everything else that normally lays, lay today.  Hoping this is the new normal and molting is over!

That's funny Jeff, my Cream Leg bars have really picked up this week. Finally!
They started out OK then slowed way down, now finally earning there keep!
Watch out with the BLRW, once they get going, its on. I have had well over 100 growing up.
Yikes. Not really sure how many.. They kept laying, so I keep incubating...they are so pretty. I had a hard time eating those eggs at first. My brain kept saying, " must incubate". :)

Heres a very bad quality picture of the new bitties. 17 EO Basque and 6 Lav Orps. About the auto watering system I think I'm gonna go with nipples. Mainly. I might get a few cups also. But the nipples seem like they are way easier/faster to install. Congrats on all the CL And Wyndotte eggs papabrooder and miss Molly!

I have a question about the rules. I know that you can't list chickens that you have for sale outside of the Buy-Sell-Trade area, correct? But on the threads that you frequent, can you say that you are reducing your flock and is anyone interested in them?

Quote: Ha! Yeah I have been gradually trying to slow myself down...trying to sell more eggs for a while and only hatch what I want to grow out to have for spring...finally gonna sell some birds and make a bit of space... and I'm headed down to sacramento next week so gonna try to sell some roos but if they don't sell it's processing time. :-( gonna reduce by at least 20.
