Fess up, you know we dream of all the pretty colors! Did you see the lemon blue LF cochins on the New crazy 24hr auction? They were soooooo pretty, I was so tempted but don't have an incubator

. Yet.

I love the lemon blues! Just too many different breeds and colors for me to fit in! I am way over my limit as it is and I am still hatching and adding

Feathered legs are the standard for Marans

I know they are but some don't.Love that color of the golden cuckoo's and did not know how they were on the feathering. I was wondering is it common for the splash not to have good leg feathering? I have a 4month old splash pullet that just has nubbins. The black boy the same age has nice feathers.

This is great I am going to try my hand at making a pallet coop for isolation purposes out of a tile pallet. Can I ask you questions if/when they come up

Well, this is what hatched here this morning. A Drum Horse colt. 3/4 Clydesdale and 1/4 Gypsy horse. He hatched out at about 125 pounds.

I do still have lots of chicks...
I have 2 "Fuzzants" I think they are Blue Copper Marans. but could be OE
I found a Sultan in there today.
I separated out the Gold Cuckoo Marans, there are several "pairs" And I am hatching out eggs I orders, if you wanted unrelated pairs. Should be in 2 more weeks.
There is a little of everything out there. I have mine and my Biz partner's eggs then eggs from friends and neighbors too.
PM me for breeds, prices and possible meet ups and delivery.

I am in central CA, near Fresno and I am very tired...200 chicks, a baby draft horse and a 2nd baby horse on the way is very tiring.

Our snow was falling with rain this afternoon. It stuck on Siskiyou Summit this am. I'm done with snow I hope, Eric is planting the raised beds. It's still to early for me, we'll just end up re-planting, happens every year.
