Mossy
One day this weekend we are going to Lodi for the passport festival, hopefully seeing miss molly to pick up a jubilee roo and pick up feed. Do not know what day yet have to check with miss m. The pens are not really up yet but we would love to see you!

The MF pair is broken up right now. My hen made it through the attack and is my only non breese girl laying. The roo is at a friends house as "the rooster" but I'm sure I could convince him to take another roo instead. He is so perfect I could not bring myself to eat him.

I'm excited to hear the eggs are doing so well! Floppy I think is just too big to sit on eggs. She breaks a few and then the rest go bad. But she is a great mum so I gave her chicks, and they are so happy with her.

How is Molly?

I haven't seen a post from her in a while.

Don't know yet Ron haven't talked to her in ages. I'm worried but did see an active post on cl from her so hope she is up for the call.

My early risers are the quail. I don't consider them crowers since they aren't loud enough to wake up DH. It's all relative since the dogs have had me up since 3:30 this morning. So far no rooster crows but they should be starting any minute.

So are mine! I have 12 Bobwhites in a double decker pen outside my bedroom wall. When I turn on the lights at around 6 in the morning, that sets them off. They are pretty loud and drive my DH crazy. I'm an early riser but he isn't. He has been pushing to process them but I want to keep a few of them.

Mary and I were worried about her, so Mary have her a call a couple weeks ago. She is doing okay, still trying to cut down on her flock.

Since we've only got 1 male and 3 females ours are pretty quiet. I would like to add a couple more girls. 1 female has taken to hiding inside. The girls aren't looking to beat up, just missing a few feathers but I think they would be happier if he spread his affections around more.

Ok, I normally don't post jokes or videos, but this got me laughing! Funny car/ chicken commercial.

Trisha

ok, that is really funny to watch without sound. Those chickens look so intense! And clean! Who spent the day washing and clipping!

Kinda makes you wonder how they came up with the idea.
