I'm in Redding. I have 5 hens, but only 3 are laying so far. The other two are just becoming old enough to lay. Love my birds.

I have a friend in Antioch who breeds Jersey Giants. She has black, blue, & splash. I don't think that she has any available right now but I can check with her.

I have some blue & black large fowl Langshan eggs right now. I could probably get you some Pita Pinta eggs this week, also. I haven't been hatching them but they have been back in a breeding pen for the last couple weeks while we are dealing with stick tight fleas. The boys have not been collecting them for me but I'm headed out there later today and could have them save them if you want some.

Aw, I am tempted. Those Pita Pinta chicks are so cute. I already talked to PapaBrooder though & he is going to hook me up. Next time she goes broody I will get some more Pita Pintas.

Most of my birds are molting now, and have been for several weeks. They look so bad right now.
