California - Northern

Hi all!
I just stumbled onto this site and this thread, so here it goes. I'm a Norcal resident, in Yuba City, about 40 miles north of Sacramento. We are building a garden coop in our backyard for our 5 chicks expected in August. This will be our first time to keep chickens but are looking forward to the adventure. I've been keeping bees for years and have had many fellow keepers tell us we need chickens too, so we're doing it.

Hi y’all,

I’m rehoming some of my cockerels. They are friendly and some have just begun crowing. All are between 2-2.5 months old and really beautiful birds. These are all hatchery stock birds.
I have a blue laced red Wyandotte, cuckoo marans, blue copper marans x crested cream legbar (carries the olive egg gene), white silkie (could still possibly be a hen, who knows), and my gorgeous boy Hannibal who is a mix breed hatched from a white egg. Someone mentioned he might be a brown leghorn cross. He has a pea comb and has a similar build to aseel and shamo roosters.

They are all sweet roosters and although I can’t guarantee they will stay sweet after hormones kick in, they aren’t aggressive at all right now.

I posted a thread on buy-sell-trade. Please check it out for pictures.
