Hi
I just picked up two Cal white leghorn chicks from the local feed store. I understand that they are a sex linked chicken. One of the chicks has black spots and one doesn't. I don't know how they are ID'd.Is it the spots or is there another method of separating the pullets from the cockerells?
Thanks in advance....

I was looking back at my Cal white as chicks....I know the females had black spots.....the roo i don't think had any...I know as he grew out he did not have any as the hens do slightly...also i had 4 roos and he was mean....he went to freezer camp after many tries to retrain him

That is a very good question...Still not exact answer. Im really intrested in hearing it.

So do the hens have black spots? Do the roos have black spots? or Can both hens and roos have black spots?
