I had a welsh harlequin with something similar once, I will try to find the picture I took of him when I get home. I took him to the vet and it turned out to be a sinus infection. A round of antibiotics cleared it right up.

Does it say on the bottle how many mg/ml? I ask because it it's 22.7 mg/ml or 100 mg/ml then the shelf life is probably okay.
