Do you think mine will survive? I hope so, one has almost come away from the shell, the other still a little attached.. Just thinking the worst.. :-(

Yours may have a sticky problem, you had the humidity up at 60 the first few weeks..

Yes they were a bit sticky but all is well now

Safe Hole should be made ONE DAY AFTER, not before, or when they internally pip. You need to give them a chance, They have plenty of air in that shell for at least 24 hours. Once the 24 hours is up THEN you should make the safe hole IF AND ONLY IF they have NOT made any progress...

Your getting to EXCITED and doing things to early and that's where accidents happen!!!!

Peach is more experienced as far as Correcting her mistakes, New hatchers are not so there fore IT"S important that you guys sit and wait ONE DAY after there DUE DATE before making ANY HOLES.

They have 20% air in there shell before they internally pip which is plenty...

Thank you for this I did wait 24 hours after they had pipped internally and they weren't making any noises or moving and then we had a power cut so I then made a safe hole.
