I wouldn't sweat it, it's WAY early to be laying. Lacry and Angovem's ducks just jumped the gun a bit, that's all

Mine took a break for about a month but they've been back at it for a couple of weeks now. I'm in east central FL though so no real winter here lol.

Yep. I was out of town for 4 days this weekend and wasn't able to bring eggs in so this morning I collected them all, cooked them all (about 4 dozen duck & chicken) and we all had breakfast together I'm not a breakfast person but I sat with them while they ate and I drank my coffee. I hadn't been away from home on vacation for about 10 years. It was nice but all kept thinking about was them and my dog :/ lol. Anyway, my point was that I hadn't checked fertility in the calls yet this year since they started laying again. When I opened them for breakfast most were fertile. I will collect this week and put them in the incubator this weekend to be sure. I have a friend who wants a couple ducklings anyway so that works out. I have a swap to send out the first week of March but other then that I'm open And I need some spotted and silky ducklings

Hay did I mention my calls are laying? Lol. Well it's day two and I have not put a drop of water in the bator. In fact I probably will not because I remember when my sassy hatched, it was about the same time, which means I don't need to worry about humidity right now. My house has plenty.
