kay….here's a pic of my guinea pig, Teazel. she lives with our other 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit we are petsitting for a while.

this is an old pic. she is twice this size now at 9 months.

This is Pip. He is doing well--He recently gave us a scare with stopping eating. The vet put him on antibiotics, reglan and pain medicine and Critical Care diet and he is doing much better.I wanted to pass on that my vet approves of guinea pigs (who get a lot of attention )not being kept in pairs or groups. He said he sees more problems from fights or alpha-zeta pecking orders than from a beloved only piggy.

Guinea pig update: Everybody loves grass and Ruby the Sheltie had a hack job [hair cut] for summer. also we are getting more friendly and love to be hand fed with this new taming and trust building resume.

PS: It is Timtam's birthday on the sixth of October, and Snowy and Teazel's on the 13th! then on the 17th of November it is Ruby's and on the twenty fourth it is Rita's. They are all turning 1!
