Calling All New Brinsea Owners!!! February Hatch-a-long... PRIZES!!!

Well I pipped open the top of all the remaining eggs 4 were shrink wrapped, 2 were late stage quitters and the remainder look like they died around day 10-14.
So the incubator is cleaned, and drying....guess I'll set eggs tonight for a March hatch.

Here's what's going in...
4 Buff Ameraucanas
12 Blue/Splash Ameraucanas
12 Project Ameraucana eggs

See you all on the March thread.

I would like to know too if a chick can be shrink wrapped before it pips?

100% I always have a few chicks shrink wrapped before pipping:-(

okay so what does a shrink wrapped chick look like when you chip open the top?

When the humidity is too low the membrane looks like it has shrink wrapped the chicks. They suffocate.

This is my entry for the February Hatch-A-Long:

Here is my first Black Copper Marans chick from my own eggs. Hatched in my Brinsea Mini Advance. I love my bator!!!

Here is my entry for the Feb hatch a long. This Silver Laced Wyandotte and Blue Wheaten Ameraucana chicks were my very first hatch ever and were in the Brinsea Octagon Eco 20 on 2-22-2011. The picture was taken with a Samsung SL605 @ 12 megapixels. With the incubator still running and the top intact. The only editing done was to add a black border. This is my entry in the Backyard Chickens Brinsea February Hatch-a-long Contest. We had 18 out of 19 hatch... thank you Brinsea!!!
