I do like the color pattern of my pullet. Hope se develops more spotting. May use her in a olive egger project.

diversifing before winter

crele penedesenca and white empordanesa hatching eggs.

hopefully I will be getting some black's once I move next month. then I will want black as well.
I plan on having 2 pens of each variety.

here is my penedesenca cross. she is getting a mille fleur pattern it looks like.
Luann mentioned she may be a wheaten x partridge cross. I am going to grow here out and see what she lays.

My crele got beat up pretty good. I think he is doing better . am hoping so as I will be adding a few other hens soon and dont want to loose him. he is tired and sluggish some but he is seemingly getting better.
bummer he was so handsome. I hope he comes out of it as I have been uab

le to get more crele hatching eggs anywhere and really want new chicks for spring and summer. so if anyone has any please keep me in mind

I got here as a partridge but think she is a wheaten x partridge cross

how close would you say she is too laying. her pink is starting to get darker but still pretty pink in the comb

Not very but I do not know how big the combs are supposed to get on these.
