I am part of the house rabbit society facebook group and let me tell you those people make little duck look downright restrained in her approach to animal keeping (love you little duck!)

I am just glad Niven doesn't have social media so she can't be bullied for being a poor hillbilly

I was in the delivery room when she had her (now 1 year old) son. I kid you not - she was waiting for the baby to drop down and was schooling her nurse about how important it is to alter pet rabbits. The nurse looked at me like "Pls help".

Yes! Thank you! And now that I can see it, I totally agree with lil duck about the toys. Oxbow has awesome toys in natural materials. Niven likes a lot of those.

Can someone explain to me why this huge 40 lb bag of alfalfa pellets cost less than the little bitty tiny baby food rabbit bag that I bought?

Brand name!!!! DS2 insists on oxbow for the guinea pigs…..only available at feeders supply here so he is responsible for buying it. If they run out….they get my rabbit pellets until he restocks!!!! Same with hay…..way more expensive from feeders than the brand they stock at RK.

Niven has this water dish in her crate. You can get the same style in stainless steel if you are worried about chewing. She also has a tiny steel doggie dish for water in her corner of the living room.
