Calling out all the freaks!

Antonio was so hot it made you forget the book. He needs to get those extensions put back in his hair.
My plan is to let Memphis watch scary movies so they wont be scary. When I was little I had nightmares if I even saw a preview for a horror movie. Then I realized that monsters were cool. I want him to know from day one that if there was a real monster, vamp, werewolf whatever it would want to hang out with us (or maybe make us one of its own which wouldnt be bad.) but not eat us because monsters are cool. Besides I cant get rid of all my horror decorations in our room. My husband's prize possesion is his Michael Myers mask that sits on top of the TV

I grew up on horror movies from the 80's and cartoons. The only movie I ever remember my mom making me wait to watch was The Exorcist, had to wait til I was 8 LoL
She managed a video store, the only one in the state of OK for awhile, back when ppl still rented BetaMax players and the original laser disc players came out. So I watched EVERYTHING. I had a tv, vcr, blankets and toys under the counters (which were cabinets beneath) and I just lived there behind the cabinet doors everyday after school and on weekends since she worked open to close.

80s horror rocks! Freddy...love him! Evil dead movies I got to meet Bruce campbell. I have a picture of us together from when I was 18 or so...(oh God thats like 10 years ago!) I have a Cryptkeeper head mounted on my wall. After the big horror movement in the 80s everything went downhill. We need another horror wave. I'm talking good stuff not just remakes of Japanese movies or other remakes. Why cant anyone come up with their own ideas anymore?

I love the Japanese/Korean/Chinese/Thai horror films but we are just remaking too many of them into bad films. Tell Me Something was AWESOME and if you haven't seen it go check it out if you can find it. I have tons of asian horror films they still know who to do it right and they don't have to have the secondary love story involved EVERY time.

I loves me some Bruce Campbell but some of his more recent movies are kind bad, and not in that good way either LoL

OK, since we switched gears, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Vampire Chronicles!!! I named my oldest son Lestat {BEFORE THE MOVIE!!!} and my youngest is Talisyn. My youngest used to watch creepshow EVERY mourning when he was 3! If I didnt let him put it on....boy did I have problems!!!

I DID NOT let my kids watch barnie though!!! I have 3 ducks, A Pekin, a Rouen and a black one that I am not sure of...I LOVE them!! they are all girls, and I get 2-3 eggs a day from the lot. they live on my pond, and lay their eggs in the water, so I have to fish for them!

Did you see Three Extremes?

That was freaky weird. I couldn't get any of my friends to watch it, especially because of the first story about the dumplings. There was another really good one that I liked.... the Eye? I think that is what it was called..... they're doing a remake of it here in the states now. I hate when they do that. :|

I have both Three Extremes and Three Extremes 2. And yes the dumplings story stays with me and I think of it everytime I'm at a chinese restaurant! It was my fave of the stories. I saw The Eye too, great! What about the Tomie series or Wishing Stairs?

I have not seen those... will have to see if they have them on Netflix
