CJ, I am with you. I am Christian as well. My 18 year old daughter passed away last August in one heck of a car accident, and if it wasn't for him, I don't know what I would have done. Sometimes you just need someone who really knows how to comfort you, and Jesus is the Lord of my life.

Are we really freaks, or are the "normal" people just really boring? I love my metal, rock, industrial, old alternative, punk music. I was the quiet pasty chick all dressed in black in the 80's, or wearing my trench coat when it was in the 90's outside. I have always loved horror movies, but lately they seem too predictable. Did any one else think Jeepers Creepers 2 should have been listed as a comedy? I have been told I was a bad mother for dying my daughters hair pink, purple, blue... My hair was magenta when I turned 30. I was told it was time to grow up. I don't plan on ever growing up, the next stage is growing old and I don't plan on getting old.

I was raised on fantasy

Lessee, been reading since I was something something months old and always read fantasy stuff. 'Got into' Science Fiction and haven't looked back. I prefer the 'explainable' fantasy stuff instead of: It's magic! It can do anything!

Because of a friend I 'got into' the darker stuff and love the gothic subcultures (I believe I am classified as a 'Cybergoth'

). I have become addicted to Jhonen Vasquez (For those of you who don't know: He drew and wrote Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, I Feel Sick, Squee and Fillerbunny. Was the creative force behind the t.v show Invader Zim. He collaborated on Jellyfist and Everything Can Die. He also directed the music video for Mindless Self Indulgence's song Shut Me Up and did the artwork for their new album If.)

After taking Psychology I developed a taste for the psychological horror etc. And yet I still can't read or watch anything in the 'mystery' or 'horror' sections because I get scared too easily! (I even developed a phobia of the dark after watching 'A Ghost in the Darkness' at age seven

) I love the horror and mystery but am unable to participate in it

I don't know if I listen to any 'dark' bands.. mostly it's so called 'Industrial' like Angelspit and Mindless Self Indulgence.. although I'm not sure what Vyncent Flaw would count as... not to mention t.A.T.u! (I know, I know... they're pop -I think- but I looove their voices!)

I once had purple hair.. black hair and bleached blond. It turns out I'm allergic to the bleach so my colors are limited to dark or streaks.... I would love to shave the side of my head but my mom does my hair so.....

I love Invader Zim.. my text message tone on my cell is GIR saying "squirrel", and I can often be overheard singing the Doom song while cooking breakfast or cleaning house on the weekends! I think we might have to watch some tonight!
