Toward the bottom of this link, they give the symptoms of cocci. It would help to know what you are actually treating.

Cocci can definitely spread to other chicks. In moderation, that is a good thing. Once one chick has cocci they will all be exposed, so they need to develop that immunity while they are young.

There are about 6 or 7 different protazoa that can cause cocci. The odds are extremely high that any chicken that goes outside will be exposed to one or more of these types of protazoa. Chicks develop immunity from specific strains of protazoa, but immunity to one strain does not necessarily give immunity to all. The medicated feed does not prevent or cure cocci. It inhibits the reproduction in the chicks system, thus reducing the concentration of the protazoa. It is possible for chicks on medicated feed to die of cocci. Consider the medicated feed insurance in that it greatly reduces the chance of cocci being harmful.

Chicks get sick from cocci when the concentration of the protazoa builds up to levels too high in their systems. The protazoa seems to thrive in wet poop, so keeping your brooder and run dry is helpful. The cocci passes through the chicks system in the droppings. After a day or two of maturing in the poo, it can infect other chicks. If the brooder is wet, they can ingest too much and get sick. Some strains are potent and they'll get sick even in a dry brooder.

It sounds like the chick is not displaying the other symptoms of cocci, so it may not have cocci or it may not be that serious. If you treat for cocci and you should be treating for worms, you are certainly not helping the chick.
