Can Ducks eat Chicken Egg Shells as well as their own, for extra calcium during laying season?

Can Ducks eat Chicken Egg Shells as well as their own, for extra calcium during laying season?

Yep! They actually love them. You can just throw an old egg at the ground and they'll eat it if it broke. I have a friend who does stuff like this with all of her poultry.

i feed their own shells back to them after rinsing, drying , and crushing. i have ducks and chickens together, so the shells i feed them are all from my one flock .
don’t feed shells that are from other flocks.
