Can I feed my chickens Kefir?

We have been making Kefir and it has grown to big for our needs, can I feed my chickens the extra grains?

That is what you get from the Kefir grains, but what we are wondering is if the Kefir grains themselves can be fed to chickens.

I don't see any problem in them. They are good source for probiotics.
