Did some laundery today...ran across hubby's clothes...morbid thoughts, picked it up and sniff........sigh!
However it was a productive day, went a bit of fishing with my daughter and she also went swimming with her cousin this afternoon and going to a mini slumber party with her friend tonight. The house will be alone tonight. Me and my computer and the cat will be my company.
I have good news but I will leave it for now, don't want to get my hopes up. My female relatives are awful, kept pushing me to divorce him but good thing counselor said no, its not the time when one is very angry and implusive. Even my aunt raise me a "high five" and I refused and she said I would kick your xxx if you go back to him instead of getting a divorce. Jeez, even her own husband was a mental basket case, she had her fair share of heartaches and she stuck with him thick and thin. Isn't what the marriage vows were, for better, for worse and for in health and sickness......? Unconsiderate relatives!
My dad is the only person who is behind me for whatever decision I will make as long my daughter is safe and the doctors OK'ed the cohabitation of both parents. It will be a couple of months or so. It is all up to hubby, either make or break.
Dont let your family bully you..
But i'm sure they are just wanting whats "best" for you and Katie...but still... its YOUR marriage..
Sometimes people like your hubby can get help and really get better! Sometimes it takes a big scare like this to make them really realize that you are SERIOUS and there are boundries that he can NEVER cross again.. ...
Let him get some therapy and see what happens and go from there...
Hang in there..
I know in Michigan we have "behavioral health" at the county level. My late DH was in counseling for that before he died (severe depression, addicted to pain meds and suicidal) and the counseling is on a sliding scale for pay. I had called them a few weeks ago, but after the interview they concluded that I was NOT CRAZY ENOUGH to qualify for their services. Any rate, if your state/county offers this, tell him to look into it. It was in the blue pages in the phone book.
Today was our first day back with internet in the last week and a half, so I missed the first pages.
*HUGS*
If you ever need to talk, just PM for my number. I'm in and out but never gone for very long.
I have several questions but not sure where to go when it comes to dismissing the protection order or modify the order if he does get counseling and medicated. Two years is a long time...... Not sure if the courts can do anything if he HAS been trying to get help but I wanted to be sure he follows thru it. PM me for details.
Haven't seen a hair or hide of him since then....... he HAS been going counseling.
