Can anyone tell me if my sheep can share the same water containers as my chickens in the event I have to put worm medication in the water container for my chickens? I have large plastic containers that I use to hold water and both sheep and chickens drink from the same plastic containers. If I ever have to place worm medication in these water containers for the chickens and the sheep drink the water, will this harm my sheep?

Giving small doses of wormer to sheep is never a good idea
If sheep are given wormers when they don't really need them, it just builds resistance in the worms.

I sure wouldn't.

Either find a different way to worm your chickens, or coop them up for the day with the dosed water (or shut the sheep elsewhere with their own water).

Good luck, have fun,

Pat
