Can you make a hen broody?

I have a one year old hen that our broody hatched from fertile eggs last year and since then went broody this spring. Not too sure her breed, but my copper marans was the broody who hatched her. I THINK she is basically an EE. We were not collecting eggs everyday and the clutch built up which seemed to trigger her innate instinct, same with the marans last year. I'm assuming because she was hatched by a broody maybe it's written into her to behave that way more. I know it does not "make" them go broody if that instinct was not present, but I think it certainly brought it out. They started to sit faithfully when the clutch size was closer to ten.

Hmm well maybe i will try leaving some of their eggs in there first to see if they will go broody before I put the fertilized eggs in. Anything is worth a shot.
