I have one barnyard mix. Appenzeller something. Thought I was getting white eggs(what I wanted) as I have other colored eggs, but she lays blue too! I have 3 blue layers now!lol! Oh sorry, what are PR? Production reds?View attachment 1895044

She is beautiful. PR is Plymouth Rock...one is black the other is white.

Great price! Good job! I am searching for a Danish Brown Leghorn, not a hatchery hybrid, but haven't found one all year! Some hatcheries have brown leghorns but not what I want. Maybe spring some will show up! Lol!

I'm waiting for the spring as well to increase the flock. My children want to add an easter egger, a copper maran and a lavender orpington

Here’s our old girl! My Husband learned to drive on her (a long time ago ) she needs some serious repair work as the cylinders are seized up badly... his father switched to the new John Deere with a front end loader, and she was left out in the pasture (literally) for a few years before we came to the Farm. Did you get to the Saanich Fair at all while it was on?
