Candle Question

So--- Day 16--I am seeing developed eggs-- yesterday (day 15) saw movement.. today--- not as much... Would this be because the chicks are getting too big to move around??

New ventures are exciting. This is very normal as the embryo grows it fills the egg so that candling becomes impossible. So your on the right track. We are told that candling eggs is normally carried out around 10 days after setting. Also and clear eggs can be boiled and fed back to the hens/chicks quite safely.

Normal hen eggs term is 21 days but this can vary either way.
