I have so many chickens and to bring that a friend is going to load up her truck and come with me. There will be Ameraucanas, EEs, Swedish ducks and goodness knows what else. Maybe a bunch of LF mixed breed hens that are young and laying. As we walk around the farm we kept seeing more that others may want.

Ooh I want some Swedish ducks! How old are they?

I think they are right about 5 months old. I will have to check. Mostly girls, I think, too.

I have a friend coming with me that will be looking for call ducks. I wasn't sure if anyone was bringing any or not but I try to remember to post when I find out someone is looking for something or is selling something.

Just putting that bug in ya'lls ear!

It looks like Robert and I are going to come see what this is all about. OF course I hear the weather may be an issue this weekend, but whats a little rain??? Will this happen no matter the weather?

If there is a rain date when will it be and how will we know.
Kris

I think I will also be bringing some hatching eggs to sell. May not be many but I will start collecting today from the pens.
I owe some but I will bring from my
blue copper and black copper Marans pens,
bantam Cochins in the Mille Fleur project,
Sizzles,
Frizzles,
Silkies
and I think that is all that is laying right now.

I know my BLRW are not laying enough to bother with and my Mottleds are broody, though I got one egg yesterday but set it to check fertility again, my white Cochins are broody.......gee, what a bunch of slackers!

Rain date is posted on page one and Tricia should tell us by Friday, I would think. I plan to have a tarp over the birds in the bed of the truck (I can now see where a camper cover would come in handy) so wind, sun or rain could be shed off.
