May 19 may be good because no wind, still somewhat cooler, plenty of chicks hatched out by then or half grown ones from very early spring that are ready to sale and everyone is still looking for stuff to add to their breeding pens or from their want lists that they haven't found yet, chickens are laying well so hatching eggs can be found or pre-ordered, if you know who is going, vacations haven't started yet and people with Income Tax Return money will have it burning a hole in their pockets.
However, we will have to deal with bugs and will need some shade. Refreshments should sell well!

But that said, If You have it and let me know what it is I will try to get there.
Is it the same thing as a chicken show? I'm just starting to raise large fowl Rhode Island Reds and have a couple that I want to show for the experience of learning.

A chickenstock is a place to buy, sell, make contacts, gossip, and have some fun. It is not a show.

Hi and welcome! A chickenstock is a big poultry get together where folks shop, swap, buy/sell anything related to poultry from the coop all the way to the house.

Some even bring handcrafted items and goods. We also have a raffle of donated items to raise $ for local charities. Real good time, great place to meet new poultry friends and a chance to see some old ones.

I am still working on a date and once that is in place all other info about the day will follow.

Really, really hoping your chickenstock is any weekend but May 19-20. I've got 2 non-bird related conflicts that weekend. But if the majority chooses that day, I'll catch y'all some other time.

May 26th is Memorial Day weekend, so I think May 19 would be a better day, as many people spend the Memorial Day weekend with friends and family.....
