Cats!!!

I love kittens too, so much so that when my cat had years ago now I kept the lot, I just couldn't part with them.but they weren't fancy cats just ordinary moggies but I got such a mixture of colours.colours. Did you know that a female can have multiple partners, I didn't but I suppose that explains all the different shades. Can waiit to see the pics

Chiklee that is a very cute typical cat loving the sun, stretched out and rolling in dirt. One of my cats has lots of white and when hes done rolling he's all grey. Thanks for sharing

I went out last night with my husband for our once a year adult night out and thought I missed baby highlander pics just checking in. How are the babies doing?

My neighbor has a new young cat. The last few days this is how I find her. She hasn't attacked them but he sure stalks them. They are just to big for her. I have one chicken that will chase her

The leader of my flock will chase my Mini Dachshund if he gets to close. She's even pecked poor Henry on the nose a couple times.

Alright, we ended up with 4 babies. Marley was rushed to ER in GA this am with complications. She was x-rayed and still had 3 babies in her. She was bleeding a good bit and she had a high fever of 105.6. I had to rush her down to Orange Park, Fl for an emergency blood transfusion and emergency C-Section and Spay. The other 3 kittens in her didn't make it but at least Marley is doing good at this moment.

We did lose one baby during the night due to mama lying on it while pushing to try to have the other 3.

Confusing, I know.

But the good news is my Marley is doing good and the 3 surviving babies are with her down in Fl nursing. I will call during the night to keep check on all of them. Will need to drive the 2 hrs back down there to pick her up by 7:30am and then take her to our regular Vet in GA to be watched during the day tomorrow. Ya'll wish Marley and the 3 kittens LUCK that they all survive and thrive!!

My pocketbook is hurting badly right now. I've never spent this much on any living animal until today ($2000.00+) so far!! Yep, it's a hurting!!

Oh my goodness. Thoughts and well wish to Marley and babies. What a night. Sorry to hear Marley had such a ordeal. Thankfully the 3 survived. That is quite a dent in the wallet. Never easy to process when the emergency is over. Keep us posted.

Dr called and said Marley was cleaning and nursing the babies. Looks good right now. Dr said to take her to my Vet afterI pick her up in the am for IV antibiotics for the day since her uterus was ruptured. It's going to be another long day tomorrow.
