Chat room for non religious poultry keepers! :D

No worries about predators with them sleeping in a tree?

I can usually remain calm about it and not flap my hand or anything (...unless it's a stinging insect like a wasp, and then all bets are off), but I definitely try to encourage them to leave sooner rather than later. 😅
Flapping your hand around increases the chance a wasp will sting you - you need to freeze and stay completely still until it goes away!
Requires a lot of self control particularly if it is on your face.

I just run away :p . My grandfather would smack hornets, which would make them drop on the ground and then he'd step on them. Personally I'm too scared to try that, and I'm of the belief "live and let live"

It's molting
So it is ok that she has not come up to eat and drink at all? 😥 The tank does not have the same smell that it got when her sister died, so I have refrained from digging her up because I am under the assumption that she is alive until I smell that smell. She went and burrowed right under their bath, and I accidentally found her while trying to dig a bigger hole for the "tub", so I do know where she is. ❤️
