What a great story. How does one do CPR on a chicken?

I did mouth to mouth very gently and pumped her chest with a finger. Force too much air into her lungs and you could kill such a small bird. Also press too hard u can squish her to death. I did it on and off for about 10 minutes. Once I saw her starting to take some gasps every 30 seconds or so I stopped pumping her chest but gave her a few more breaths to help get the oxygen flowing.

Hey y’all,

just wanted to give an update. Our little chick is still alive but she seems to have plateaued. She is weak and is eating but not much. Not sure what else I can do for her other than keep her and mama in the warm shed.
