Chick gasping for air and is only half conscious

Does anyone know what's wrong with her? She's so lethargic and I don't think she's getting enough oxygen. Her chirps are scratchy and shrill when she does get knocked out of her gasping, dizzy state, usually only ever because she got scared or excited.

I noticed it this afternoon, she's 1 day old. I didn't think it was possible to look into her beak so I didn't try, I'll try to take a look.

I think there is something in her throat but I think it's too deep. How could I get it out?

Could I suck it out with a dropper. I'm getting desperate because it's clear she's very close to death.

There's no way she's going to survive, if she does she'll have some form of brain damage
