Chick Hatching Assistance - Is this Shrink wrapped?

I'm hatching a combination of mail-ordered ducks and chicken eggs this year in a NurtureRight 360. This is my second year of hatching. Last year I just did chickens and I had 14 going into lock down and 10 hatched. This year I had 7 duck eggs and 6 chickens going into lockdown. Today is day 29 for the ducks and 22 for the chicks. Two healthy ducklings hatched on their own yesterday and one chick hatched this morning.

This chick first externally pipped around 20 hours ago and I'm trying to figure out if this looks shrink-wrapped. I didn't have to assist at all last year so not totally sure what I'm looking for. The chick is still breathing and the beak is out of the egg so I know it can breath, but the membrane looks dry and the shell doesn't look 'zipped' like I'm used to seeing.

Once this one is out (fingers crossed) and fluffed up I'm going to candle the rest and look for signs of life. I've read that ducks can take longer than 28 days. We've got a mix of Pekins, Apple Yards, and Khaki Campbells. The two that hatched yesterday are a Khaki Campbell and Pekin.

Does this chick look shrink-wrapped? Should I start gently assisting?

Any help is much appreciated thanks!

I have the exact same problem right now. Five others hatched out fine yesterday but this one is in the same state of zipping about 1 inch long. Membrane pieces look yellow and a little dry. It is breathing and chirps regularly. What oils do you suggest and how would you apply it?
Thanks

I would suggest using coconut oil and a q- tip.
