Just wanted to post a follow up on the progress of my chick and his leg. It has not been able to use the fractured leg dispite the wrapping for stabilization. And he has started pecking at it as I've noticed a spot of blood on the dressing. Also it leans up against something when still on it's good side to keep upright. It is hopping around on that one good leg dispite the fact the foot is damaged and has turned inward. But has a good appitite, intakes fluids and has good solid poop. But have started on a oral antiobiotic as it seems abit congested, perhaps wheezing some. But the chick certainly as personality and loves company & baby talk to it. cherps back. So until something else happens, just call me a mama hen.
BTW, cant get it to try eggs of any type, scrambled or boiled. loves its chick scratch & starter, but no people food. have carried outside for adventures in the flower bed, heaven but not able to dig.
