Mira has that "wet hair" look. I also like the smallish spitz.

Our current gal (DS renamed her PoofPoof) has a puffier spitz than I would like. I really wanted to sell her & try growing some more out, but DS won't let me. She's a personable hen & becoming very tame & spoiled. (Constantly underfoot, pecking at my boot, and whining for treats.) Our other spitzes were great foragers, but this one is more "cling-y." LOL

Yes, her hair was definitely wet. Snow was melting.

It's above freezing & the flock is enjoying some yard time today.
The Spitzhaubens know they're beautiful and constantly strutting around, posing for photos.

Even when I try to get a pic of another beautiful chicken, PoofPoof is there in the background. LOL

They are so stinkin cute!!! I have one silver spitz and one gold Brabanter. such quirky interesting personalities ever! always so curious and fun. i dread the day i lose them. enjoy them to the max!
